Coming clean
by Volker Weber
The truth, as is often the case, is far less exciting than the conspiracy theorists would like to believe. It is simply this: I got it wrong. The nerds got it right.
I wish more people would be able to do that. "Workplace was a really stupid idea. You don't want it, we now understand." Not going to happen.

Although I do agree people should admit when they're wrong and move on, I don't believe him, he was either pushed to write that or he is getting something out of it.
He is probably paid off by the linux nerds, Vitor ;-)
getting something out of it, Vitor? Readers and being quoted, at least ;-) That should be rewarding enough.
While he's at it: there are a few more things he got wrong.
Timo - I think the Linux nerds are not yet handing out laptops. Armin - that's what any half decent writer aims for, not the case here. Although I do understand Volker's point I think making this guy or whatever he writes an example can only be seen as a joke.
As with all his writings our friend Daniel "Notes is dead" Lyons aka Fake Steve Jobs gets what he seems to be craving for most: attention.
