I was a climber in my former live, so the answer is definitely: NO! Never! Ever!
my hands get wet while watching this one ;)
me, too!
No way, never ever would I walk this path!
@ Frank
There is a belay line all the way long the path where it gets tricky so... having former climbing experience, why not?
BTW, where is that place? Looks great to me..
Not with a camera in my hand ;-)
According to the original link it's the Caminito del Rey. Entering this way may be fined today with 6000...
@Pieterjan: thanks, i didn't noticed that. I just focused on man made thinks like broken concrete paths and so on ;-)
Ich habe nach 3 Min. aufgehört zu gucken, mir wurde es schwummerig ... unglaublich. Und eigentlich denke (dachte?) ich, ich sei schwindelfrei ... anscheinend bin ich es noch nicht mal digital_irreal ...
In a word.... no. I was cringing just watching. And as for belay lines... Not good enough. :)
Who was crazy enough to build it in the first place?
Why not? I was on a mtb trip down the uina canyon in 2006. Great adventure!
Height profile
To be fair there is a safety line ( I know he doesn't use it ) which puts it more into the category of a Via Ferrata
Via Ferrata
These are fantastic fun ( with a harness ), especially the commercial ones in France where you think you are doing really well until a little old lady passes you
I will wait for the restoration I think!
Only if drunk. Fortunately, I don't drink.
Not walk...run!
No way.
@Marius
It's not the height, it's the width ;-) i doubt that the Naudersdownhill was just 3 feet broad ....
Reminds me of this series, especially the hiking trail in part one.
Looks like fun .. but I'd be more worried about the 6000 euro fine if thats right. Fair play to the guy that walked that though with camera in hand.
