Cool new feature in OS X 10.5.3: the address book now syncs with Google. Can I please have that for iCal as well? :-)

I think it is available only for iPhone users.
Wondering, if there is a defaults parameter to enable it.
Just finished the update. I don't have a iPhone (yet). No iPhone no Google sync :-(

Volker, if you need that for iCal try BusySync from BusyMac. I use that for months now since the early betas. Recommended!
Have not tried this myself (yet), but it claims to do the trick:

PS: What we really^10 need is real over-the-air-IP-online syncing from the iPhone.
Sunbird/Lightning can sync with Google Calendar, if that's any consolation :)
@Fred: I use Lightning with Google Calendar Provider for two-way sync at the office. It works, but barely. I'm not that happy with it.
