Nice idea - sad to say, their infrastructure doesn't seem to be quite up to it, having broken a couple of times over the first hour, apparently.
But I guess I will keep trying...
Flock is updated to 2.0 using the FF3 engine as well. :-D
and it runs smooth...

Nick, most of my pictures are clickable. ;-)
The mozilla.org-Servers seem to be overloaded. Try the european servers.
@vowe - ah yes, but by that route you are not taking the 'pledge' and so cannot be counted!
Or so I'm told.... ;-)
As if I cared. I often call bullshit for IBM's execution when they get into the customer's way. And Mozilly.org is managing this very badly as well.
Down & done. No issues, didn't feel a need to be #1 in line though.
Runs well, a tad quicker I think. Like a few of the new interface tweaks.
Already the default browser on my MacBook...
Thanks Volker for the hint/link - still this morning this seems to be the only fast way to get access to the download. And I couldn't care less whether they get their download numbers or not - usage will be more important anyway!
@Alex, as far as I know, Flock 2 is currently only in Beta. However, I'm using it since yesterday and so far, I must say I don't see a need to have FF3 besides it. I was using FF3 since the later Betas and the last RC is identical (afaict) with the now released binary. I had no issues since with the last RC over weeks...
@Ragnar - can you please post a link to the Flock 2 Beta - cannot find it on their site.
@Tom - Here is the Flock 2.0 Beta
So FF3 made 7.7 million downloads in 24 hours at a rate of 6000+ downloads per minute.

Impressive!
Well - good to be reminded where it all came from - a video from a decade ago. The did not get 'squished like a bug' by Microsoft after all....
