Marketing wizards
by Volker Weber
There were quite a few deliveries today at vowe's magic flying circus. One of them was the UPS delivery van which dropped off an envelope from TomTom. It was a flat envelope so it could hardly contain anything valuable.
So what was inside? A puzzle suited for 2-3 year olds with three pieces missing and a personalized envelope with a pamphlet and the missing pieces. Message they try to convey: TomTom has the missing pieces. Message they did convey: this company wastes money, fuel and time to deliver a message they can get across by mail.
Somebody in marketing needs to be taken out the back and shot.
