It has only been less than two hours

... since we left LTU-Arena in Düsseldorf. And what a night it was.

Yes, Madonna just turned 50. And you can see that she did. She is an outstanding, very athletic performer. I am amazed she can sing at all when going through her dance routine. After catching some breath she was even able to perform You must love me from Evita.

If you go see the show, watch the guitar player at the left back of the stage covering for her guitar play. He is always using the same instrument, and plays exactly what she attempts to play. ;-)

Thank you for making us feel special, from access to the front row right down to the parking lot next to the venue. Which let us beat the crowds leaving, fill up the car and hit the road. We left LTU-Arena well past eleven and were home just short of one o'clock. It was well worth the ride.

32h if you can remember that better.

I don't think that she can. Have you ever seen the Video with Britney Spears and the real Voice coming out of her mouth during a concert?

A long shot from Britney to Madonna...but who knows, only her and her sound technicians.

Frank L. Quednau, 2008-09-05

Given previous tours, Madonna tends towards a mix of live and lip-synced vocals, depending on the song & its choreography. But that’s irrelevant: the woman deserves to be where she is, given her work ethic!

"The audience will never notice the pitch corrected performance." [more]

"used daily by thousands of audio professionals around the world. Whether to save studio and editing time, ease the frustration of endless retakes, to save that otherwise once-in-a-lifetime performance..." [more]
