It looks as if it was shot a few meters left from Glacier Point, maybe on the 4-Miles-Trail. Thank you for that link - I'm looking forward to stitching my own panoramas together this week, although they are not that big ;-)
INcreDEEBle ! meaning the sense of really being there you can get by incrementally zooming in on detail.
Much like the body's eye focus when you are there - or the mind's eye, in memory.
hopefully google maps will not be this good. At no time ever ;-)
I still think Ansel Adams pictures are better. While it is impressive from a technological point of view it lacks soul to me.
Interesting - that site is completely blocked by the University of Oxford network - and that is pretty unusual! What monstrous technologies does it use?
