No SteveNote at Apple's last Macworld
by Volker Weber
This is a biggie:
CUPERTINO, California—December 16, 2008—Apple today announced that this year is the last year the company will exhibit at Macworld Expo. Philip Schiller, Apple’s senior vice president of Worldwide Product Marketing, will deliver the opening keynote for this year’s Macworld Conference & Expo, and it will be Apple’s last keynote at the show.
This can mean two things: Apple does not have anything interesting to present, or Steve is not feeling so well. Or both.
Comments
Maybe it's just that Steve would hate to publically eat his words about Apple not doing Netbooks, ever. At least one analyst thinks there will be Apple Netbooks RSN, see this Computerworld article.
Why does this matter?
@Joerg: Analysts make me laugh. There is absolutely no substance for Gottheil’s assertion—he even said as much! I expected better of an ex-Loti ;o)
Macworld Expo w/o Apple makes it the ... uuh ... world expo? Weird!
