Why must ebery body ask this silly question? There ist not one day without reading or hearing about what people expect from 2009. I can't here it anymore. The more you ask the more pessimistic answers you will get. And the more people read pessimistic answers the more they themself become pessimistic.

Wolfgang, just take a ook at the current stats: onnly 14% expect to be worse off, while 53% expect to be better off. Maybe it's not always the same ol'.... Of course, you'd have to answer to the poll to see the stats. :-)

I suppose in general vowe's readers are happier and more optimistic than the average John Citizen - 'cause vowe is a good mother :-)

Happy New Year to everybody - the pessimistic and the better off!

Sorry, this is for the German readers of vowe only (simply as I can't translate that into proper English...):

Kopf hoch, wenn der Hals auch dreckig sein mag!!!

In dem Sinne: 2009 wird gut!

Gruß!

Heiko
P.S.: Evtl. kann ja ein Multilinguist das passend übersetzen!? Merci!
P.P.S.: Happy NEW YEAR to all of you!!

I'm optimistic about 2009. Every crisis is also a chance.

Our "Outlook" for 2009 will be Lotus Notes 8.5. We don't allow Outlook on our corporate network. BTW, put me down for "better off".

Steven Joseph, 2008-12-31

Don't have to put you down. Just vote in the sidebar. It's where you would look for it in your Notes 8.5.

Volker Weber, 2008-12-31

The poll section just shows the results. There is nothing to click that allows me to cast my prediction.
