MCO to FRA in 7:50

This was a record flight. I have never seen 727 mph or 1170 km/h (over ground). The A340-600 took a southerly route across the Atlantic. We came in over Paris instead of Dublin and London.

On the way to Orlando we sat more than two hours on the tarmac in FRA due to radar problems that kept 39 planes from leaving towards the west.

We also did Orlando > Manchester a full hour ahead of schedule - 6hrs 59Mins (but took the Northerly Dublin route). Winds must be strong!

Vowe, I got the same flight! Yes, when I seen 727 mph I really get impressed!

Due to some delay before the departure in MCO, I was thinking to stuck in FRA. Thanks to the 727 mph I finally got my connection to Bologna.

BTW LH is my favorite airline, good connections to everywhere and now, with the new flight entertainment also in economy class, flying is a pleasure.

Even New York - Berlin was one hour faster ... approx. 6 1/2 hours! Getting the train from Berlin to Stuttgart is about the same :-)

Was that maybe the wind that destroyed southern France? ;-)
