I just lost all respect for LG
by Volker Weber
This is the Mies van der Rohe pavilion, originally built in 1929. Look at all seven pictures. And this is what LG made of it:

... the horror ... the horror ...
Urgh! Please tell me this is just for a special event.
Yes, that is only for Mobile World Congress. Instead of having a really nice hospitality suite, they had a "booth".
really poor choice, and no one had the guts to tell the guy who planned this how freaky this is...
Actually the pavilion is a replica, as the original was torn down after the exhibition of 1929.
But still, how stupid can one be. To rent a major landmark and not make it an integral part of your presentation.
I hereby vow(e) not to buy any LG products, ever!
i sell my flatscreen !!!
Their engineers are definitely better than their marketing guys. Well some intercultural lessons are needed. It seems like a case of "baseball cap wearing tourist in shorts and boots walks swearing through a Buddhist temple" (Yes the tourist also didn't know cultural context).
my eyes, my eyes!
Am I the only person who can't find an easy, one click, way of moving from one photo to the next?
It's the only reason I've always refused to use flickr, if somebody could put me out of my misery I'd be a happy man.
@Ben, erm... you've never noticed teh thumb nails of the next and previous pics in the stream? You'll never guess what happens when you click on them.
@Kerr - I owe you a beer!
Idiot that I am, I've only ever clicked the arrows under the thumbnails. This changes the thumbnails but never changes the main picture...hence my confusion. I was clicking the scroll arrows, then choosing a photo. Then scrolling again.
Thanks again...I knew it was me!
Are you sure this is the same pavillon, Volker? Hard to believe.
I don´t see any photos. Maybe they use flash, which I hate and detest and therefore block. So I won´t complain.
