Enjoying Spotify

Thanks to some great help from Stuart, I am now enjoying Spotify on my Mac, streaming the music over the Bluetooth gateway into my Sonos. This does not work for German users as you try to walk through the front door:
Unfortunately, due to licensing restrictions we are not yet available in your country. We understand that you are currently in Germany.
Solution: find somebody who signs you up from a supported country. Thank you, Stuart.
I wish it would not offer me stuff it can't deliver. This music licensing business is completely borked in the Internet age:
Update: I found the switch to filter only relevant stuff. And the switch to let it scrobble to last.fm.

Spotify hacked
Spotify has apologised for the security lapse and advised users who registered on the site before 19 December 2008 to change their passwords.
I signed up today and not before December 19.

Sounds to me like the hole is still open and they only knew of the last breach because somebody sent them a postcard to say they'd been there.

Sorry to rain on your parade, but even if you do sign up in the right country you can only use the service for two weeks outside the designated area(s).
Find yourself a proxy in an eligible country before the service closes down on you.
Dang. Sounds like I need to sign up every two weeks again then. ;-) Would it help if I use the account once every two weeks from an eligible country?
Volker: I am sharing my professional life between the UK and Germany so I can positively confirm that using Spotify once every two weeks in an eligible country does the trick.
Apart from relatively few missing labels and right restrictions this is the best streaming service I have encountered so far. The whole look and feel generated an immediate "I like" reaction for me.

I am curious to know the *steps* for how you used bluetooth to play Spotify over your Sonos system. Actually I'm curious to know of any way of playing music from my iMac over Sonos...ethernet, audio jack, whatever would be best. The Mac and the Sonos bridge are next to one another.

I have a Bluetooth sound bridge connected to the line-in of a Sonos ZonePlayer. The Mac thinks it is a Bluetooth headsets connected via A2DP.
