Thanks Volker

As I have mentioned, this is still Beta, and we are looking for people to help out with development and progression of the site. If you are interested in helping out just leave a comment.

It's cool, but can we hide this "No documents found" under the "Latest Vacancies" section?

Pierre Lalonde, 2009-03-12

Sure. Just enter some vacancies. :-)

Volker Weber, 2009-03-12

OUPS! Sorry Paul, haven't read your comment. It's a good idea.

Pierre Lalonde, 2009-03-12

No relevance for Germans, hm?

Frank Dröge, 2009-03-13

Seeing the logo helps a lot in not misreading the name. I mean, why should the good old blues kill something? :)

Dirk Steins, 2009-03-13

@Frank - The plan is to add to this any country/province that has people that want to use it.

Paul Mooney, 2009-03-13

Shame they didn't think about security..... I hope no one's put personal stuff in there.....

I've emailed all the profile owners, suggesting they remove any personal stuff.

Of course I've also emailed the site owners.

Seems they only have 42 profiles! Most people are using GMail email addresses and there was 1 IBM address.

Ian Bradbury, 2009-03-13

Paul is a good guy. Help him fix it.

I am surprised there are already 42 profiles. It started just yesterday.

Volker Weber, 2009-03-13

I am surprised there are already 42 profiles. It started just yesterday.A regex error prevented profiles from saving, so that’s probably why there weren’t more. Something appears to have happened to the site now though… :-/

Ben Poole, 2009-03-13

Yes, Paul added another slide to his Worst Practices presentation and took the site offline.

Volker Weber, 2009-03-13

@Ian

Congratulations. I'm pretty sure you're gonna get an award for your selfless efforts to support the community. You're a shoo-in for Prick of the Week and an extremely strong favorite for Prick of the Year. Don't bother with an acceptance speech. I think we've heard quite enough...

Rob McDonagh, 2009-03-14

I didn't sign up for the site as I was looking at it in work. But I would have to agree with Ian. There was nothing on the main page that said it was Beta at all.

He said he emailed the site owners as well. Better it happens now and gets fixed.

Simon O'Doherty, 2009-03-15

@Simon - It said it was in Beta on the home page of the site.

Paul Mooney, 2009-03-15

I don't recall seeing it on the site. I just clicked the other options and it asked for a login after that gave up.

Reading around I see people are annoyed with the defacement (which I didn't see)

Simon O'Doherty, 2009-03-16

Simon, a cursory glance at the Google cache for the site:
Although still in BETA, we hope to help people find the right position on this dedicated service.
