Android notification area

Android has a few advantages over iPhone. First, you can run widgets on the canvas and not only place icons. Second, those apps can run in the background. And third, you get a notification area at the top which alerts you of things happening in the background. And wherever you are, you can pull down that notification area:

Looks like you like Android a lot. Can you share the enlighenment how you do the screenshots?
Download and unpack the Android SDK, load tools/ddms, enable USB debug mode in Settings/Applications on the phone, connect computer and phone, and do a "Device/Screen capture" from ddms.

It's not completely clear to me who did this modifications (it's said that they are done by HTC themselves), but they look very nice. Have also seen another video with different modification some days ago.
Also very interested to see the Samsung i7500, which should appear next month at O2 Germany :)
