Did you grab your Facebook vanity URL yet?

Interesting. But how did you do that?
Facebook doesn't show any hint on my profile/info page.

Its crazy that you have to search in google (it takes 2-3 URLs to check) to get http://www.facebook.com/username/ to get your own URL. Wired wide web.

Henrik Heigl, 2009-06-14

Huh. FB prompted me the first time I logged in after the magic midnight hour. I didn't have to look for it, they came to me. Maybe they stopped?

Rob McDonagh, 2009-06-14

FB prompted me for it as soon as logged in on Saturday morning so I took my usual "rrumaner".

More silly names.

Yep, I can't see how to get a vanity url either. I have no prompts on my homepage or profile page to get one even though friends still do.. Weird!

I didn’t get any prompts either, but it’s simple nonetheless:

@Ben that was easy!
Thank you.

Pieterjan Lansbergen, 2009-06-15

Kids, why exactly am I putting a More > link there? ;-)

Volker Weber, 2009-06-15

Volker, you've build an iq test ;)

Cool - worked like a charm, except wanted at least 5 letters. I'm now facebook.com/usorensen.
