Can't wait to order some of these...

But did they forget to mention the use of a straw, or is the food meant to be glued to this attarctive plastic tray to stop it falling out when the bottle is tipped for drinking.

They also forgot to mention the added benefit that if the beer was cold enough it also helps keeps to keep the food chilled on a hot summer day.

The green stuff on the right looks remotely healthy. I think that ruins the theme ;-)

Mariano Kamp, 2009-06-22

@Ian: open mouth very wide before tipping; food falls in and is washed down by drink. ;-)

You all seem to be onehanded.

Volker Weber, 2009-06-22

I like the idea but (IMHO) the pricing is wrong. 48 US$ for a 42 plates pack is not going to be very attractive especially when compared to more traditional paper dishes.

But perhaps the quality is such that they can be recycled and used more than once.

How do you get the beer out if you're one handed ? a "beer and burgers" flavour plate...Brilliant.. lol

Giulio Campobassi, 2009-06-22

@Giulio, How do you get the food in your mouth if you're one handed?

Kerr Rainey, 2009-06-23

Fantastic! Just needs a straw for the beer (horrible, I know, but you don't want to spill the plate)

Andrew Pollack, 2009-06-24

Ian, Andrew, where's the problem? If you want to drink, you take off the plate and hold it in one hand and hold the bottle/drink with the other hand. If you want to eat, you hold the bottle in one hand, put the plate on the bottle as displayed in the picture and eat fingerfood style with your other hand.

Even on a fingerfood party you shouldn't be eating and drinking at the same time! ;-)
