Love the whole Soundtrack of this film. Yann Thiersen is a great artist!
I didn't recognise this, but thought it must be a piece by Sufjan Stevens - rather similar wistful, haunting style.

It appears so. Although I did not know it so far. :-)
Many people skilled in the art heap derision on his music, dismissing it as 'too easy, too simple', but I think that there is real beauty in that 'simplicity' - if that's what it is.
I'm no musician, but I know what I like!
