Alex warning on iPods

This is just a gentle Alex warning that Apple traditionally releases new iPods in the first half of September. That would be in less than four weeks. So, if you intend to buy an iPod, I suggest you just wait a little. :-)

I bought my Mac Mini around the time they changed the models. I rang up somewhat annoyed that my Mac was out of date before even leaving the store.
They mentioned that if you order during such a transition then you get the new device for the price you ordered. The new device would be same as or as close to (better) what you ordered.
Of course your product must be ordered before the change over and not shipped during that time. :)
