Syncing onto my 3G now. The West European maps need 1.7GB space on the iPhone.

Dang, 99 euros for iPhone software! - you can buy a tomtom device for not much more than that!

If it included a dash mount, then that would be more reasonable. I'll be waiting for some reviews first.

It actually works surprisingly well...

Positives, its very intuitive, seems very accurate, the UI is very similar to the Tomtom devices, and the addressing seems very fast.

Downsides? Takes a long time to load initially, and the iPhone speaker isn't loud enough when the radio is on with road noise - when piped through my stereo it worked great.

Great app - ¢60 for UK and ¢80 for Europe does seem pretty steep compared to a dedicated device, but could be worth it for those that travel regularly and use hire cars, or else as a second device for occasional use.
