Have you checked out Connections lately?

Just tried to look at some 2.5 features, and frankly, I can't read it. Light grey on white? Somebody wake up the designer. Two logout buttons, one blue, one white. Two different Lotus logos, a heavy black frame that is bitten off at the bottom. This can't be right.

Looks like the Lotus Greenhouse navigational updates to Lotus Connections aren't working as they should for you. What is the browser used in this screen capture?

Here is the Lotus Connections 2.5 Home Page with no customizations:

@1 - he's using Safari.

@Volker - You should understand that Greenhouse is not just a Connections site and the black bar at the top is something that's specific to Greenhouse's implementation to somewhat portalize the experience and give you access to other components. So this is why there is a logout button there as well as in the actual LC screen. That being said, it does appear that it's not rendering well for Safari. I'm even seeing some poor rendering in Firefox 3.5.2 but not in IE 7.

Thank you, Mac and Chris. Indeed, Safari 4.0.3. Now checked in Firefox 3.5.2 and it looks much better there:

I am just accustomed to sites working well in all browsers and should not take that for granted. Having said that, it is still very heavy on the navigation side of things. I count five levels. If we take one away for Greenhouse, that still makes it four.

Do the two Logout buttons do different things?

actually the top IBM banner and the Lotus Greenhouse banners are both specifically for Greenhouse. By default, the install will present users with the Lotus Connections banner and one log out.

You can log out of Connections without logging out of Greenhouse. So yes, the two log outs do different things.
