Donut (Android 1.6) has some nice touches

I have recently installed Donut on a Goggle Dev Phone G1. It should soon become available. There is a detailed list of the enhancements. What I find most useful is universal search. And of course the screenshots in the Android Market:
Although it is missing a few vital features, for instance a 3.5mm audio jack, the G1 has become one of my favorite phones.

I really *love* the new auto-reboot feature. O:-)
I guess there's some old package cruft triggering some really bad bug in the Android's bowels.
