Can you improve the Bold? You bet.

The BlackBerry Bold is the best BlackBerry ever. That used to be true for what was the only Bold available. Now there is a new kid on the block, and it's again the best ever, relegating its older brother to second best. We are going to write lengthy reviews with loads of details, but it's very simple: if you like the Bold, you will love the new Bold. It took me 10 seconds with the new trackpad to never want to go back to the trackball. Smooth, that's how you can best describe it.
The 9700 is smaller than the 9000, in a big way. It's like a Bold in a Curve skin, but feels a lot more solid. And it sheds some weight going from 138 g to 120 g.
Apart from the original iPhone, there has never been a device that went from zero to editor-refuses-to-give-it-back in 30 seconds.
