Heute vor 20 Jahren begann Lotus mit der Auslieferung der Groupware Lotus Notes in einer Version für DOS 3.1 und für OS/2.

Symphony. That was way before Smartsuite.
Ich weiss es steht gar nicht da aber ich lese jedes Mal "Als PLATO aus der Hölle trat". Ein wirklich schöner Artikel der eigentlich auch in der Print Ausgabe einen Platz verdient hätte (vielleicht steht er da ja auch drin).
I think that they are referring to Lotus Symphony 3.0 for DOS.
The entire application ran in 640kb of memory and was delivered in 12 floppy disks.
This was way before Symphony (based on OpenOffice) was ever conceived.
