Hope AT&T officially lets me run OS5 on my Bold before RIM launches OS6....

Craig Wiseman, 2010-04-27

Does the OS6 media player have gapless playback yet?

Chris Linfoot, 2010-04-28

I don't like the Black Eyed Peas.

Sven Richert, 2010-04-28

Doesn't the OS5 player already have that?

Volker Weber, 2010-04-28

@Vowe - Don't know actually. My provider (Orange) still has me on 4.6.

Chris Linfoot, 2010-04-28

Let me put it this way: my Bold 9700 (5.0.0.545) seems to be providing gapless playback with the proper tracks.

Volker Weber, 2010-04-28

ok, after watching this video and the iPhone OS4 keynote, it seems that IOS4 is getting more like BB5, and BB6 is getting more like OS3. More music in BB, more enterprise features in IOS.

Oliver Schulze, 2010-04-28

Good observation, Oliver. I think both try to reach new audiences, while keeping the existing one.

Volker Weber, 2010-04-28

This is a shameless rip-off of the Palm/WebOS ads (for example this one). I would have expected RIM to pay their advertising agency to be actually creative.

Apart from that the "6" in the logo looks awful. As if they took it straight from Arial because their brand typeface does not contain digits.
