Nokia drops Symbian for Meego on Nseries

HELSINKI, June 24 (Reuters) - Nokia Oyj (NOK1V.HE) will use Linux MeeGo software in its flagship N-series smartphones, hoping the new platform will give it a better chance to battle rivals such as Apple Inc (AAPL.O) and Google Inc (GOOG.O).
The yet unreleased N8 is now officially a dog.

Nokia will continue to use Symbian for its vast portfolio of cheaper smartphones.
And where would the E-series fit in? I thought that was their flagship series, for the business users at least... Will they be moved to MeeGo as well or will the be staying on Symbian? Any guess?
Symbian. Businesses use old software.
Well, while that may be true in most cases, for me this means I'll look for alternatives - likely Android. But I'm probably not an average business user.
