Napster to stop supporting WMA secure files they sold you
by Volker Weber
Important Information About Your Secure WMA Digital Music Purchases ... We're writing you with an important message about any music downloads you purchased from Napster prior to May 2008. Due to evolving digital music technology and related rights, Napster will no longer be able to provide support for these downloads as of Sept. 1, 2010.
Repeat after me: DRM is bad for the customer.

Good news.
I chased @napster for months on end for a Napster client for either my iPod Touch or Android phone. In the end I gave up, cancelled my "napster to go" subscription, which only worked with a nasty WMA compatible Creative player, and switched my portable music to Spotify - which lacks the chart and automix stuff, but is higher quality.
@napster promised me it was on the way but, in honesty, what were their chances of ever getting WMA decryption on either iOS or Android?
I can only take this to assume the apps are on the way.
Thanks for the link, vowe!
