Panorama application produces high-quality smooth panoramic images by automatically capturing and processing input images into a panorama, directly on your device.
This is a spin-off from an internal Nokia project to build streetview images for Nokia maps. Available for free, for the Nokia N8 and the N900.

I'd love to see a good panorama taking photo app on the Android platform. All that I tested created visible seams. Of course it wouldn't make much sense anyway with the Milestone, as it's camera is not really that good.
Lately I've been experimenting a bit with creating panoramas out of video pans. For now I've been just dumping frames out of the video by hand, but the results have been pretty good. I'm currently looking into ways of integrating this in an open source project such as hugin.

I've been using Pano on the iPhone 4. Easy to use and the results are very good. Not free but worth the price ($2.99).

Try "360" on iPhone, this allow you to create panorama images live while you rotate
