Google Latitude finally on iPhone

How did I miss this last week? Google Latitude is finally available on the iPhone, updating your location in the background. So far I could only do this on Android and BlackBerry.

So you never tried it on Nokia? It even works on my old trusty N82...

I've been thinking of getting it but there are a lot of comments about the negative effect it has on battery life on the iTunes store and Paul Mooney has also discussed it on his blog

Battery went from 100% to 88% in four hours with normal usage.
