And then they were nine

Sonos is addictive. Consider yourself warned. You may start with one or two, but eventually there will be a lot more.

Is there a reason why the tabs sometimes show one room / area and sometimes two? Is it because they are linked?
Still don't have the money together for this but one day..... :-)
@John, yes, you can group different zones to hear the same music all over the zone. That's what Sonos makes so cool. Start the music in one zone, group all the others needed and hear the music in perfect sync in every grouped zone.
Indeed a bigger installation. I think with 3 devices we're just at the starting point ;)
How well does Sonos handle very large music (+ 150gb) libraries?
The size of the library isn't a concern, mine is around 300GB - there is a finite limit on the number of tracks though - 65,000 last time I looked.
This only applies to local libraries and multi-million track libraries, like those from Napster/Spotify, aren't an issue.
@Ian
1,2 TB of FLAC files - no Problem for Sonos. Actually a re scan of the shares takes a while, but this depends on the speed of the NAS, I suppose.
Who is Bob?
@Frank Maybe that the scooter's name? Naming a zone "Garage" sounds decadent. ;-)
@Frank: I suspect Bob is Volker's ghost writer. Officially, he does not exist.
What?
Well, maybe it depends on the numbers of rooms available :-)
