elegant Lotus icons from a more civilized age?
I see Lotus 123 (Easy)
AmiPro
wordpro
freelance graphics
screen cam
smart pics
Notes R3 (?)
not sure of the rest
Brings back memories. I still have the Smartpics floppies
Sure, there was this dinosaur called "Lotus" way back in the 90s. What, people still use that stuff? /ducking
Somehow I a feel another shoe is going to be dropped by vowe....
/waiting
I can tell you what isn't there: Organzer, Approach, Magellan. I don't think that Agenda, Improv, Jazz, or Manuscript are represented either. That about covers it, right? :-)
It's been a while but I'm fairly certain that the icon in the center is a scaled down version of the Improv icon
Smartsuite icons from the last version 9.8 or something like that? A surprise announcement at LS11 that Smartsuite has been updated to accomodate Windows 7. Good for me, I use it as a back up for Symphony.
Ah-ha. You missed out cc;Mail.
And did you know Improv lives on ? Its part of the monitoring software within the Admin tool. I'm sure someone with a decent DLL tracking tool can give us API's.
Ahh. Nostalgia aint what it used to be.

Lotus 1-2-3 and Samna Word IV (the predecessor of Lotus WordPro) were my first business applications I used on a PC...I am old!
@Bruce : + 1
Let's see, hum... Vowe is going to find a pixelized icon in the latest release of Connections / Notes / Sametime ?
It is in the product. It is the beautiful icon palette that one can use designing classic/legacy/cobolnotes applications. IBM can put it in the product but you are not allowed to show them!?
If you spin a bad story out of a few 16px icons then you should really get a life.
Bruce, no, there is no other shoe to drop. I was just looking to find some stuff on an obscure Lotus site and came across those icons.
"an obscure Lotus site" ...is there a prominent one?
This is one site with lots of interesting stuff.
I once submitted this picture to them:
Showing a streetcar with Lotus advertisement 1999 in Prague.
The one in the middle is definately Improv. Still runs quite nicely on my Windows XP box....
@Jeff, why yes, there is a prominent Lotus site.
It even blatantly shows the product
