Could that be why so many engineers are so round? Better to go out and throw the ball yourself (and walk the dog while you are at it).
Engineers are lazy. That makes them ingenious.
I call it "creatively lazy" - they rather spend hours to sustainably solve problems the interesting way that could have also been solved in minutes - the dull way.

Here's the original link. According to the guy who created the machine: "Far from being a replacement for me, I was always right there with him enjoying his fun. And with all the troubles that I went through to build the ball machine, I still end up throwing more balls than that the machine could count! According to the computer, he played with the machine by himself only 3 times in his life."
...would be interesting how it works with a full diaper...
