Microsoft Photosynth on the iPhone

The app is simply amazing. Photosynth is an incredible technology developed in Microsoft Research. What's not obvious: when you finish a photo, it automatically gets saved to your camera roll.

Runs on iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPad 2, and iPod touch 4th gen. Not available in Microsoft-free zones.

Afaik it's called Photosynth.

Valentin Wölm, 2011-04-19

Indeed. Small typo.

Volker Weber, 2011-04-19

It is indeed incredible. And the iPhone app comes before a WP7 app - I like that.... ;)

Ingo Seifert, 2011-04-19

Yeah, nobody wants a WP7. :-)

photosynth creates silverlight 3D pictures (if my brief research is right) - then what can I see on devices without silverlight, like on the iPhone?

Felix Binsack, 2011-04-20

Danke fuer den Tipp. Sehr erstaunlich, dieses Photosynth.

Juergen Heinrich, 2011-04-20

Dirk Rose, 2011-04-20

Felix, Photosynth on the iPhone can show Photosynth "photos". It will also flatten the image to your camera roll.

Dirk, richtig.
