Ballmer: Windows Phone 7 not successful yet

Computerworld reports:

While Microsoft has enjoyed many successes over the past year, Windows Phone 7 hasn't been among them, admitted Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer during the opening keynote Monday at the 2011 Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference, being held this week in Los Angeles ... Now the pressure is really high on MS+Nokia. If their first Nokia devices are not a huge success then its actually over with Windows Phone 7. (Which would be bad as WP7 is different in many ways and this additional competition would benefit the whole market.)
And it is also likely that MS+Nokia will be so desperate to succeed that they will lower the prices for their phones to a minimum.
