Apple App Store Volume Purchasing for Business
by Volker Weber
Whether you’re providing apps to two employees or ten thousand, the Volume Purchase Program makes it simple to find, buy, and distribute the apps your business needs.
The Volume Purchase Program also provides a way to purchase custom B2B apps built by third-party developers to meet the unique needs of your business.
This closes a huge hole in Mobile Device Management. Currently every employee has to buy their own apps from the store. Unfortunately:
The Volume Purchase Program for Business is coming soon to businesses in the United States.
Let's hope this gets rolled out globally.

Was sagt der Steuerberater?
But only in the US ;-(
This has been a big problem for us with iWildfire. Our target is really business rather than end users. Sure some users buy it but it is really a business tool and hence probably a business expense. S what do orgs do with 10,000 users. Get them all to buy individually? That was never really going to work well so hopefully Apple will roll this out world wide ASAP.
There are organisations with 10,000 Macs? Really?
