Security hole in RAIDiator 4.2.18 (x86)

by Volker Weber

The RAIDiator 4.2.18 (x86) has been pulled due to the fact that any AFP-enabled share will inadvertently obtain guest access, allowing anyone on the LAN access to your AFP-enabled shares. If you have updated to 4.2.18, you can go through each of the AFP-enabled shares and disable guest access to close this security hole. In the meantime, we are preparing a 4.2.19 beta release that fixes this hole as well as provide OS X Lion compatibility. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Pretty ironic, considering Apples update-intention to make it more secure ... ;-)
