Nokia Maps is getting even better

You can still download map data over Wifi so that you don't need to connect to the Internet while abroad. It will still allow you to augment these maps with live traffic data. And it's completely free with your Nokia phone. You only pay your operator for the data.

So let's hope that Microsoft will ditch its ugly Bing Maps for this in Windows Phone. The sooner, the better.
