This should worry Microsoft

A similar B.Y.O.D. program at Citrix Systems, a software maker that also helps its clients implement such programs, saves the company about 20 percent on each laptop over three years. Of the 1,000 or so employees in Citrix’s program, 46 percent have bought Mac computers, according to Paul Martine, Citrix’s chief information officer. “That was a little bit of a surprise.”

LOL: “It’s a relatively small part of the company, but it addresses the majority of the noise and complaining.”

Hmm, don't know if they really worry. Even Mac/Linux/WhatEver users need MS Licenses for TerminalServers (For "using a Microsoft Operating System"., either as a user or device cal.) As Microsoft does not allow OEM Licenses on Terminal Servers, Licenses for all Office Products delivered by a Citrix server (the same for terminal servers) have to bought again. So - they will make their share. And with a look to office licenses - more than they would earn with OEM Preinstallations. I think.
