It's The Maps, Stupid

Mr. Harold Goddijn, not only does your map suck. Your subsidiary is not even able to fix it. I have been trying to tell you that this is all wrong for four years. I have even gone through your competent PR agency. But you are not getting the message. I have sent you an aireal photo with streets and numbers, but you won't get that. I have tried to correct the map on several devices, but you can't change a street that is mislabeled.
Look it up in Navteq. Look it up on OpenStreetMap. What you think is Elly-Heuss-Knapp-Weg is partly Edith-Stein-Weg. And that means that deliveries cannot find their way to that street. That taxi drivers from neighboring cities can't find it. Fleet management won't find it.
Your processes suck. We have been trying to tell you. Four years. Maybe you get it this time.
And btw: Elly-Heuss-Knapp-Weg is also in that picture. It's not exactly where you think it is. And one can exit Edith-Stein-Weg to the east. This is not a dead end.

Well ... convince taxi drivers and postal services to not use TomTom anymore. "Easy" fix ;-)
Hmm, solche Fehler macht nicht nur TomTom. Es ist schon sehr müßig, wenn jedes Wochenende beim lokalen Handballverein die Gastvereine an die Falsche Halle fahren, weil ein komplettes Viertel ohne Straßennamen bzw. nur mit einem Straßennamen ohne Hausnummer bei Google Maps drinsteht. ;)
Schau Dir mal das Copyright auf der Google Maps Karte an.
Ich habe schon einige male fehlerhafte Daten an TeleAtlas gemeldet. Da hat sich nie was geändert. Auch Google stellt diese Straßen falsch dar.
Dabei sind diese Fehler einfach automatisch zu erkennen: viele Hausnummern sind doppelt.
Ich habe es jetzt einfach noch mal über den Link "ein Problem melden" bei Google Maps probiert. Eine Empfangsbestätigung mit einer ID habe ich immerhin bekommen. Jetzt bin ich ja mal gespannt, ob sich da was tut...
Google benutzt ja an vielen Stellen die Karte von Teleatlas.

Looking at the Satellite or Earth view shows what's going on:

So their data is stale...
Funny thing is: the Earth plugin shows older data than Google Earth exe can sjow. Both by default show the image from 15 march 2005, with the site being developed, but enabling the Historical imagery feature shows an image dated 1/1/2009, which shows vowe's house and the road just fine.

Auf Bing Maps sind die von mir bei TeleAtlas gefunden Fehler nicht vorhanden.
Aber einige neuere Straßen fehlen, obwohl seit ca. 2 Jahren vorhanden.
Bei Openstreetmap sind die Daten korrekt und auch neue Straßen vorhanden.
So ist es. Bing nutzt die Navteq-Karte. Und bei Openstreetmap habe ich die Straße selbst erfasst.
