The N9 user interface does not need any front buttons. Everything happens while you swipe the screen.

Would you prefer the N9 over the 800? I'm seriously thinking of dropping my iPhone 3G (which is like totally unusable) and getting the N9 instead. I really like the swiping and the design (but Windows would not really be a option for me).
My heart would, my mind wouldn't. The N9 is a white elephant.

Ich erwische mich auch dabei, wie ich darüber nachdenke ein Lumia 800 zu holen. Mit Windows Phone. Es sieht einfach super aus und sticht mit dem Design aus der Masse hervor.
Momentan setze ich ein in die Jahre gekommenes Android-Smartphone ein. Der Android-Market bietet mittlerweile tonnenweise Apps. Effektiv nutzt man am Ende dann noch nut eine Hand voll. Daher behaupte ich auch, dass die zur Verfügung stehenden Windows Phone Apps ausreichen werden.
Ich überlege noch. Preislich scheint es ja auch unter dem iPhone zu liegen. Spricht eigentlich sonst noch etwas dagegen?
Nein, es spricht sogar einiges dafür. Ich rechne damit, dass ein Nokia eine deutlich bessere Leistung als "Telefon" abliefert als Apple. Die erzählen zwar viel von ihren zwei Antennen, aber da traue ich meiner Erfahrung mehr als dem Marketing.
Ich finde Windows Phone sehr gut. Mir fehlen genau zwei Apps: Sonos Controller und Google+.

I got two N9's :-)
One Blue, 16GB for my private number and a black 64GB for work(ish).
Haven't found something (Apps) I miss so far except native Evernote client.
Spotify, last.fm, Wimp, maps +++ is all there.
I figure that within it's two year life-span it will do what I need and more.
It's a joy to work with and I'm getting annoyed at not being able to use swipe on my wife's iPhone and the Android thingy.
It certainly impresses anyone who has been fiddling with it. The design and build quality is excellent.
Hab mich doch wieder für Android entschieden. Never change a winning team.
