My favorite charger: Nokia AC-10E

The Nokia AC-10E is currently my favorite charger for all devices that charge through a microUSB port. It has a solid 1200 mA output and uses only 30mW standby power. It charges the BlackBerry Bold 9900, which is very picky, the PlayBook, which needs a powerful charger, as well as the Lumia and N9. On my desk, I still use the fuel station.

Be careful when buying a spare one. I lost my original charger while being on the road a while ago. So I bought a replacement which was supposed to be an AC-10E for 20€ (US$25) in a mobile phone shop around the corner. (Germany) When I tried to use it, it killed the fuse. Being a curious nerd, I opened it up to find something that almost, but not quite completely resembled a charger. Bad electronic design, bad assembly, possible fire hazard. I know Nokia doesn't make them like they used to, but this obviously was lipstick on a pig, i.e. a fake.

Long story short, I ordered it from Amazon Marketplace (8€), same shit. Complained, got a refund, ordered from Amazon (11€) and finally got the original part. Great charger, but get it from a dealer you trust.
