This looks a bit desperate. I would not be surprised if we are not going to see a Playbook2.
Time to team up with Nokia. Blackberry is toast, too.
I hope we are going to see Playbook 2. On the same hardware. In February. RIM's track record however suggest they will miss that deadline just like they missed every other.
They were $199 for the 16GB model in Canada..
On their current scheme they will not sell a lot of 16 GB or 32 GB models, or will they?
Classic pricing model. They just don't seem to be able to do anything right. Or maybe they have many, many, many more 64GB models left over...
And it's surprising given how many RIM *haven't* sold that it takes 7 to 14 days to ship. That's an awful long time to leave the poor purchaser to be teased by all their iShiny and gShiny owning friends and cancel their order ;)
That is very odd indeed. Maybe they need to move stock to Amazon who can ship on the same day.
