It's a hard learning curve, but vowe is right: I went through 2-3 wireless music systems before I gave in and tried a Sonos system after his going on about it all the time.

Expensive can be cheaper in the long run, when it works much better than the cheaper stuff. But painful sometimes to invest in initially :-)

John, same here.
I was considering Sonos in the beginnend of my wireless music journey, but didn't buy in the first run - even if Volker recommended - because of its proprietary network.
It ended up in buying two other wireless music systems (Slimdevices/Logitech, Apple) for four, five rooms before I finally decided to follow Volkers recommendation.
You can calculate how much money I burned. It was at least two to three grands.
Conclusion: Turn "Buy -> Read vowe" or "Read vowe -> Ignore -> Buy something else" into "Read vowe -> Trust/Try -> Buy" ;)

Bodo - Exactly!!
