I'm so looking forward to the Lumia 920

When Windows Phone 7 was released, I was sure that it would be crap. But then HTC sent me a phone and I loved it. Next was Windows Phone 7.5 and the Lumia 800. I was sure this was a knock-off from the amazing Meego N9, but I loved it even more. Finally there was the Lumia 900 and that one I did not particularly like. It had a flat screen instead of the curved glass from the 800 and it just wasn't as elegant.
But now, the Lumia 920. It brings the 800 form back, in a bigger, better package. A large battery, a much better camera, a stunning display with 1280x768 pixels. It has retina display resolution with vivid colors. The touch screen works with you finger nail just as well as with a glove. The phone has NFC so you can easily connect your peripherals and it charges without being plugged in. And finally, you don't have to worry that you might drop it. The Lumia 800 has survived a few drops from the table without a scratch. The 920 promised to be even more sturdy.
I can't wait to get this thing. Just not in yellow.

I hope this is what I'm getting, but I'm just looking forward to a Windows 8 phone of any description.
A phone, a tablet, a computer. Must be nice working there.
I wonder how long it will take until a CyanoMod is working on it :-)
Nokia does know how to make phones, hope they are catching up on the OS
I'd love to get one, but I suspect it will take a while to come to the U.S. unlocked.
Thing i want a red one , not sure if like the size , i think the 900 is huge prehaps the curved screen makes the 920 feel better

"Must be nice working there" - it is. It's not all free toys, I don't think I've ever worked harder than I have in the past 9 months. But I was rewarded at the year end (bucked the trend of decreasing earnings for 5 years running at my previous employer). And, as is discussed in this post, Microsoft are willing to invest in winning. My previous employer didn't understand the concept of investing in order take on the competition.
Volker, at least you will be most likely get it before the general public ;)

Lumia 920 ist ein echter Knochen. Aber Bildschrim ist Wahnsinn. Laden ohne Kabel ist cool. Bestes WP8 bisher. Aber Lumia 820 ist auch klasse.
