SONOS ZP100 and ZP80 :: Eight years and still going strong

These two players are more than 8 years old. And they have been used throughout most of those 8 years. I just replaced the ZP100 with a ZP120. And the ZP80 has been used for many years as a "first shot" to convince people they really really want the SONOS experience.
Nothing wrong with the ZP100. But I want to free it up for people who want everything possible. This is the only SONOS player that has everything. You can connect two speakers. You have Line-Out and Line-In. And a SUB out. It also has the original four port embedded switch. The ZP80 has digital out, both optical and coax but no amplifier, and thus no speaker.

I frequently use the ethernet ports of my ZP100, works perfectly!
Auf die Gefahr hin, dass mich da meine Englischkenntnisse völlig im Stich lassen - aber lese ich da ein verstecktes Angebot an Interessierte heraus? Dann wäre hier einer :)
Volker - Remember I have the oldest of your ZP100. We "tauschen" 4-5 years ago and you're right - I have "everything possible". The beauty is still firing up the living room with a good subwoofer and (now) a pair of second hand Sonos SP100 speakers. Paradise.

Macht ja nix - besser sich zum Affen machen und blöd nachfragen als sich eine potentielle Chance entgehen zu lassen... ;)
Ist ja auch nicht so, als hättest Du noch keine Player, oder?
Selbstverständlich habe selbst ich welche - aber wer war es doch gleich, der die entstehende Sonos-Sucht so häufig und ausführlich propagiert? ;)
Ansonsten stand ich nur letztens vor der "Aufgabe", meinen alten MiniDisc-Player spasseshalber ohne Verstärker, dafür mit Sonos, zu reaktivieren. Dafür hätte sich der ZP natürlich angeboten. Habe aber einen Workaround gefunden, denn der playbar ist es egal, ob am optischen Eingang ein Fernseher oder eben etwas anderes hängt :)
Puh, Glück gehabt - auch ich hatte das als Verkaufsangebot interpretiert.
Habe allerdings gerade gemerkt, dass dem CR100 ein paar Software-Features entfernt wurden, so dass man einiges nur noch per App machen kann.
CR100 ist definitiv am Ende.
Yep. Trotzdem ärgerlich. Das Ding funktioniert noch und jetzt kommt Planned Obsolescence via Firmware-"Update".
Naja, es funktioniert ja noch. Aber es wird nicht mehr weiterentwickelt. Und wenn eine Funktion geändert werden müsste, dann fliegt sie halt raus. Planned Obsolescence ist das nicht, aber Colletaral Damage. So ist das im Product Management. Man muss Prioritäten setzen.
