Ed Brill is tasked with bringing Verse to IBM
by Volker Weber
In case you don't have Facebook, Ed broke the news yesterday:
Now he needs to get on Verse himself. ;-) I tried, but IBM wouldn't let me so far.

Going operational... Verse'd case scenario!
@vowe, I have signed up, too, but it appears that I am not permitted to have it, either. I am thinking that unless you know someone to approve or push the request through, you aren't going to get it. It isn't what I would call "easy" to sign up for the beta.
ConnectED attendants were supposed to get early access in February. Did not happen. Jeff Schick promised a release on March, 31. I am not holding my breath.
I have tried several times to get early access since last summer.
I don't much mind waiting until a few of the kinks are ironed out before using Verse. I'm happy to see Ed on board. At least it means that news from IBM about Verse will be articulate and positive.
When I looked at Verse it was very far from a completed product. They are focused heavily on the inbox, but when I clicked on the Calendar it goes to iNotes. At the time they had not started on the calendar view. Now I know that IBM is trying to different things but it seems closer to vapor than Beta.
Looks like you may have to re-signup for IBM Verse if you registered prior to January, 26, 2015:

You mean they lost the stack of paper they printed out on January, 26, en route to offshore processing in Manila?
Cloud deployments are difficult, as you see when you sign up for a Google+ account. Almost impossible to get.
