How to reset your Apple Watch and how to force quit its apps

Apple issued a new release of watchOS 2 yesterday, which is supposed to fix a battery depleting bug I ran into. While I was resolving this bug, I learned how to reset the watch and how to close apps that might be causing trouble.
- Shutdown and restart: hold the contacts button until you get the Power Off prompt. Select this, wait for the shutdown and then turn Watch back on with the same button.
- Restart: press and hold the contacts button and digital crown at the same time, until Watch restarts.
- Force quit an app: while in the app, hold the contacts button until you get the Power Off prompt. Release the button. Then press and hold it again for a second. The app will appear and close down.
