IBM Connect 2016

With Xmas approaching and no word from IBM I expected to be skipping Lotusphere for the first time in 20 years. But today, there was something in my inbox. Lotusphere is not in the Swolphin this year, but at the Hilton next to the Orange County Convention Center. Easier to get to places from there but it looks like a place where you can't open windows.

I love it that Lotusphere.com still works. Maybe IBM can do another rebranding and go full circle: Lotusphere > Connect > ConnectED > Connect > Lotusphere. They still own the trademark, right?

Looks like I am coming. And yourself?

Yep, will be there.

My tweets will all contain #LS16. As they did for #LS15, #LS14, #LS13... ;-)

Happy to c u again.

The Hilton is not quite the Dolphin or the Swan, but it is not bad. And if the actual site is in the Convention Center... that place is huge!

Ragnar Schierholz, 2015-12-18 22:25

Nope. The conference is in the Hilton.

Volker Weber, 2015-12-18 22:38

Yup!

Ben Poole, 2015-12-20 17:17

I'm considering coming down for the weekend to visit with friends, but as now I have no plans to attend the conference itself.

Richard Schwartz, 2015-12-21 05:04

Yes will be there...

Henning Kunz, 2015-12-22 10:16

I'm afraid job commitments mean again I cannot attend. But a crack HADSL team of marketeers will be there to dispense wisdom and beer.
