A URL with 'specifications-a-donotpublish.html' is security through obscurity. The DTEK60 just went 'official'.

Nice specs. Too large for me.
Fingerprint sensor? Didn´t BlackBerry consider a fingerprint sensor as insecure ? I´m wondering what has changed in their implementation so now they´re considering it now. as secure.
7mm height would be slightly less than iPhone 7.

After the discontinuation of the Nexus phones, the choice boils down to either this or the upcoming Google Pixel phones if you want an Android phone.

Daniel Haferkorn, 2016-09-20

Does anybody know something about the price tag?

I suggest 499 EUR.

Karl Heindel, 2016-09-20

Karl, reine Spekulation meinerseits:

DTEK50 kostet $299 netto oder 339 € inkl. MWSt
DTEK60 würde ich bei $499 netto oder 559 € vermuten.

Bastian, BB consider the fingerprint sensor as insecure because (a) they did not have one and (b) user did not demand it. It is the single most annoying (missing) feature on the DTEK50. The second one being that you cannot use the convenience key to wake up the device. The third one is that they have not gotten to implementing the picture password mechanism.

Fourth one: Android. Meinen DTEK50 habe ich zurückgeschickt und höre jetzt auf vowe. Nächste Station wird ein iPhone, wenn der Classic nicht mehr will.

Obvious "leak" is probably too damn obvious.

And again no wireless (Qi) charging. Too bad.
