Invited to Watson Workspace

Seriously, I am in. Very beta. Spaces work, everything else coming later: Direct Messages, Mentions, Favorites. Haven't seen Watson yet.

I can invite people. I need your IBMid, which should look like your email address. If it does not, you need to create a new one.

If you're in a space with multiple chats going on, you can click the little icon on the top right, to start Watson Moments.
Watson is indeed enabled in this preview version.

"...IBMid, which should look like your email address."

Unless you've been around long enough so that you got to make up whatever you wanted. Mine is a derivative of my name.

Bill Brown, 2016-10-26

Then you will need to create a new one to play.

Volker Weber, 2016-10-26

Why should we have to create a new IBM ID if the one we have for several years is not an email adress?

Marc Henkel, 2016-10-26

Because otherwise you can't play.

Volker Weber, 2016-10-26

If you have still some invitations, It will be with pleasure ;p

Michael BOURAK, 2016-10-26

Let me repeat the instructions. I need your IBMid. If you IBMid does not contain an @, you need to create a new one.

Volker Weber, 2016-10-26

Afaik you don't need someone's IBM id. You can just use their email address to invite them.
Your invitee needs to register with this email (once), if he/she does not have an IBM id, or has an ID that is not the same as that email address.

Theo Heselmans, 2016-10-26

I know. But you are creating support cases for me. See Marc's comment above. It's easier for me if people mail me their IBMid which they need to create anyway.

Volker Weber, 2016-10-26

If there are still invitations left, please invite me. Thank you!

Marcus Prell, 2016-10-26

Please invite me if possible, my IBM id is justinchuck

Justin Chuck, 2016-10-27

IBM ID: rrost

Thanks for your invitation!

Ralph Rost, 2016-10-27

Justin, Ralph, please read the fucking instructions:

I need your IBMid. If you IBMid does not contain an @, you need to create a new one.

Volker Weber, 2016-10-27

Hi Volker,

I'd appreciate an invite.

cmccarthy@dominopeople.ie

Thanks

Cormac.

Cormac McCarthy, 2016-10-27

Thanks for the very prompt invite. It appears IBM still has some work to do though. When I click the link you sent, I'm promoted to log in, which gives me a screen :

"Thanks for your interest!
Right now, Watson Workspace is invitation-only, but we've got your info and will contact you when your account is ready."

Cormac McCarthy, 2016-10-27

Hi Volker,

I'd appreciate an invite if possible.

We are working with the IBM ID team to resolve the short name issue. We should have a resolution soon. Short names or die !! :)
