Sonos Trueplay with iPhone 7

[Screenshot upside down on purpose. That is how you hold the phone while tuning.]
I just re-tuned my PLAYBAR/SUB/PLAY:3 setup. With my iPhone 7 Plus. Trueplay Tuning needs to understand the characteristics of the microphone inside the iPhone/iPad being used. It wasn't initially supported, but now it is.
This is the reason why you cannot tune with Android. Too much fragmentation, this time in hardware. Just borrow a supported device from a friend. Or invite him over to show your setup. Chances are he will want one as well. Once you tuned your rooms, you no longer need an iThing.

If only Trueplay could store "profiles". Everytime I use my Play1's to build a 5.1 to watch a movie, I need to recalibrate. Would be good to select a setup stored previously.
First world problems, though. ;-)
Sonos is not going to do that. It's a slippery slope that turns Sonos Controllers into Lotus Notes. You have to say no to features. ;-)
The solution for that special first world problem is quite obvious... :-)
@Jonas: Your first world problem might be fixed quite easily. Didn't SONOS currently run a nice promotion offering X-Mas discounts?
Until you achieve Level 5+: http://vowe.net/archives/014035.html
I might just have had an idea for a new product: SONOS Port Multiplier. Enables you to buy and operate SONOS Devices even when you have reached Level 5+.
It looks like this http://www.brennenstuhl.de/temp/explorer/files/products/de-DE/images/produktbilder_150_dpi_1158610015.jpg and will be available in both black and white, matching your SONOS Player perfectly.
And, of course, it won't have a power switch. :-)
Is Trueplay working for a solo Playbar setup as well or do I need to buy the Play 1 plus Sub?
It is working solo and in combination for PLAY:1, PLAY:3, PLAY:5 (1st and 2nd gen), PLAYBAR, SUB. It is not working for CONNECT and CONNECT:AMP, since those are not speakers.
It's a great feature, I just felt a bit esoteric when sonos sanctifying my rooms. :-)
Thanks a lot for the answer!
From that current Sonos Android Version V7: " Trueplay-Tuning für's Sonos Heimkino und mehr." [1]
Not sure this really works, or of it is an error in the changelog.

I see no reason why Trueplay couldn't support some common Android phones. i.e. Samsung S7. The hardware is consistent on these.
Let me hazard a guess. You don't have access to the telemetry data that Sonos has. And therefore you cannot see a reason.
But without data, which of the Android devices would you develop for, if you had to pick one?
